People could make more fundraisers and give the money to those people who need it so they could eat and get better until they are able to do it on there own
ReplyDeletePeople could donate money to charities that specialize in food distribution and you could also volunteer at a food bank and help get more food out to the needy people.
ReplyDeleteI think donating money to charities is a good idea. Even if its only a small amount, every dollar matters. We already have programs out that help the hungry like food stamps, but some people are not aware of the many things that are out to help them.
ReplyDeleteSend canned goods overseas because they dont go bad and as a group you could fundraise money and send to a charity or create our own charity for hunger, I think it would make a major difference if you saw the people that you were helping
ReplyDeleteIt seems that everyone has the same basic ideas to help end hunger
ReplyDeletei think they're aware is just that the economy sucks so bad no one can even get food stamps and because some people are too cheap to donate to charities so that's also aproblem and besides other countries have no peace with us especially if they have a dictators
ReplyDeleteHoly crap Mike you actually make sense for the first time in your life.
ReplyDeletehey i have my moments this is one of them be surprised
ReplyDeleteYou just ruined it.
ReplyDeleteWe can donate to food drives, clothing drives, or the red cross to help people in extreme poverty and to end world hunger we can all donate a little and it will add up.
ReplyDeleteSome little organizations within schools, boy scouts, etc should organize fundraisers like bake sales to raise money for people with hungar. For example, Food Network helps sponsor a organization that help children to not get hungry even inn the most unberable weather conditions.
ReplyDeleteawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww dang oh well it was good while it lasted but still cheap people are still real morons
ReplyDeleteI think that individually we can help by stop wasting so much. I think if everyone stopped going to the stores and buying double what they would actually eat in a week then the demand will decrease of food and everyone can stop throwing so much away. As a whole i think that there should be more fundraisers for the cause because there are alot of websites and organizations for it but not enough personally reach out to people especially in small towns like carver. this would help alot because if everyone gave a little so much would come from it. And i agree with kyle about the canned food because cans that just take up space in our cabinets would mean so much to starving nations.
ReplyDeleteWe can hold fundraisers at the school, and we could get money donated from local stores or companies.
ReplyDeleteAs individuals, donating canned goods and non-perishable foods are an easy way to donate food to hungry people. As a whole, a popular fundraiser such as a bake sale could give proceeds to those in poverty and possibly give out goods to the hungry. Mike's idea of red cross is a really good organization to help
ReplyDeletealthough my point is that people have the same ideas and as you can see they arn't working at all so stop with the same ideas over and over again and it's not doing anyone any good
ReplyDeletepeople have been doing that it's not working now is it?
ReplyDeleteno matter what people do it's still going to happen and just sitting around and saying the ideas is not going to help
ReplyDeleteBrain has a good idea. If we set up fundrasiers at ur school it will bring more awareness to the town and to the community as a whole
ReplyDeleteI think mike has some good ideas and everyone else does too especially about donating stuff and about trying not to waste things.
ReplyDeletethen do it not just type it
ReplyDeleteMike - You are right. Good ideas don't help anyone unless they are implemented.
ReplyDeleteIndividually we could join already going charity organizations that are made to help feed the hungery and also help those who are in poerty. And as a group we could start a can drive, on our own or start up our own charity around the school, and town, and raise more awareness about what is going on.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I could volunteer at a food pantry or something similar. As a group we could have a school fundraiser and then donate what we raised.
ReplyDeletei could volunter at food pantrys more and i could give to the needy
ReplyDeletethere ya go now your thinking and doing something
ReplyDeleteif everyone i the the united states gave two dollars even a dollar theres around 2,000,000
ReplyDeleteeasily then we could give all that to charity
Jake i like your idea for the group but i dont know about the bake sale
ReplyDeleteIndividually, I could go to a food pantry and help the domestic hungry and poor, or donate to charity that would help them. As a group we could compete with each other in the school for a canned good drive for the hungry and poor of foreign countries. And like Mikey said, we should go ahead and do it, not just type it.
ReplyDeleteAs an individual, i would donate money to charities. As a group we could have more fundraisers supporting the cause. I like the idea of volunteering at a food pantry.
ReplyDeleteeveryone likes the food pantry idea but few ever do it
ReplyDeleteOne solution is too cut down our consumption in the U.S instead of throwing away the amounts of food we do. Also we could find a way to send the food to other countries that are less fortunate to afford it themselves. Even if its the smallest amount it will make a difference. I agree with everyone who said donate money and food pantries those are two very good ideas
ReplyDeleteSolutions to help prevent and solve poverty as an individual is to start a fund raiser for others who need the money and to collect food for people who are unable to support their families. I agree with jess hayden on joining already going organizations because it would be easier and it helps to prevent smaller organizations from fighting among themselves.
ReplyDeleteWe could hold a walk for hunger/poverty in our local community. We could also make packages (like care packages) of food and stuff and send it to families in need.
ReplyDeleteGood Ideas Danielle!
