  5. i learned that people in other countries have to risk their life for something we think is so simple. i also learned how essential water is in villages like 'darfur'. also its scary to think of the militia capturing innocent people everyday and torturing and raping them when they're only trying to survive. I agree with michael about it being hard it took me i think 5 people til i actually got water!

  11. I died several times while attempting to get water for my camp. Its not as easy as i thought it was going to be and to know that this is reality for some people and not just a game is so sad. I also realized that you need water for everything like growing youre food, dinknig, and maintaing youre health. Also, the younger you are, the faster you are at forageing the water. Also the boys seems to run faster then the girls.

  12. I learned that it was very difficult to get water without getting caught. And it was even harder once you had the water and had to get back to the village because the water is heavier and harder to run with. The last thing is that you run out of water fast because you must consume a certain amount of water to live.

  24. The first thing I noticed in the game was how many times my characters had to go and get water and the realization of people really having to do this. The second thing I noticed was the fact I lost so many kids while trying to get water and the main cause was a car that would come by and take the kids. And finally the number of attacks on the village over the course of seven days and the rebuilding every time was a strain on the water supply. I agree with marissafaith, it is sad that so many people die while trying to get water and keep there families alive.
