  1. I agree with it but i don't at the same time. I think there are widespread protests because many people think it is discrimanation, and what if you are a american citizen and your pulled over and horassed for no reason at all?

    cons:
It is unfair to be pulled over just because of your race.
    This can be discrimanation.
When you get pulled over it needs to be a legit reason for example speeding.

    pros:
It will stop more illegal immigrations before they get settled in the USA illegally.

  2. i don't pretnd to understand the arizona government just let them screw up their own state and leave other races out of this just let immagrants be worry about other problems if legalized then don't harrass them if in the process of being leagal and a citizen thenleave the people alone worry about mugging or murder not citezens of a different race and religion

  3. I agree with the whole Arizona law on illegal immigration and i think every state should adopt the law too. This law is great because it will clean up Arizona and maybe the USA, of the illegal immigrant that earn our money under the table, without paying taxes, and all this money is sent down to Mexico for these illegal’s families because our American money is worth more down there. They are stealing jobs from kids like me too, teen employment rate is lower now than the depression. I think this law's effects are a lot bigger than people make it to be, this will change America, and maybe get us out of this recession.

  4. Rachel's comment mentioned police pulling over people for their race to check papers, this is not true. The law states that the officer can only ask if they're a suspect for another crime like domestic violence or speeding.

  7. The law as Zack said states an officer has the power to check for immigrants if the person is a suspect for another crime or traffic violation. This can be good and bad. The law will help promote anti-illegal immigrant laws but will also promote discrimination and racism

  8. I think people are upset because they think its profiling. I agree though because it will cut down on illegal aliens, i dont disagree with any laws.

  10. I think their are protests against arizona law because some people may know the immigrants that are being prosecuted. however i agree with the law that should prosecute illegal immigrants because they are taking much needed jobs from americans. i agree with mike because it could be racial profiling.

  11. i agree with jeff, because the illegal immigrants are taking money that is much needed in this economy. But also it could be racial profiling, and discrimination. How are they going to tell if they are illegally there or not?

  13. I think there are widespread protsts because people may think that it is discriminative, which i agree with because like rachel said, what if your not an illegal immigrant and you get asked to speak to.

  14. the law makes sense and i think it'll prove to be effective, but i think the protests are coming from the fact that the law is using racial profiling to crack down. i agree with rachel when she says there must be another reason to be pulled over, but something has to be doen about illegal immigration as well
